Do you travel?
While most of my work is done in the Chattanooga foothills, I have recently extended my service area to select locations near Asheville, Helen, and Dupont State Recreational Forest.
For a small travel fee, I will travel to the Cumberland Plateau for your photos - just ask.
Who is the 'Pines'?
Tolkien once said, 'I am at home among the trees.'
The towering pines & their delicate needles under my bare feet have always felt like home - & peace - to me. I decided they deserved a name in my work, too. After all, they do appear in most of my imagery.
Can I pay for more photos than are included in the package?
I give back the best of the best photos - often above & beyond what your package promises! For this reason, I do not charge you for more photos. You can rest assured you've been given the cream of the crop.
How will we receive our photos?
When your photos are ready, you will receive a link via email to your digital gallery. There, you can view the photos, designate 'favorites,' download them to your device at high resolution, & even order prints straight from the gallery.
Does your editing include body retouching?
Everyone has a different level of comfort in this department. I respect that.
While the body in its natural form is beautiful - birthmarks, scars, & freckles included - I understand there are times you may not want a certain feature accentuated. For that reason, I typically do edit out blemishes & the occasional stray hair. I do not edit body shapes or sizes.
What's your turnaround time?
Standard sessions have a four-week maximum turnaround. Galleries can be rushed for a small fee - just ask.
For elopements and micro-weddings, you can expect to have your complete gallery by eight weeks from your day.
What should we wear?
Neutral colors & earthy tones photograph best. I have a Pinterest board just for this, and would love to offer stylistic tips for your session if desired.

Do you have any discounts on sessions?
I offer an Accessibility Rate for clients who face physical barriers to accessing high-quality photography. This rate is offered on trust. Please inquire for it only if it genuinely applies to you.
Do you shoot weddings?
I accept inquiries for elopements and micro-weddings up to 30 guests. By specializing in these types of occasions, I can deliver the best and most personalized experience possible to my couples.
Do you shoot family sessions, cap & gown sessions, newborns, birth photography, boudoir, professional headshots, or events?
These are not services I currently offer.
Is it too late/early to book for ____ date?
1. Worried it's too late, i.e., you're wanting photos within the next several weeks? Check my calendar availability page, which stays updated with my soonest available dates.
2. Worried it's too early, i.e., you're wanting photos several months out? It's never too early - I keep my books open at least a year into the future. Drop me an inquiry!
